The district is seeking a qualified Maintenance Director / Transportation Director to oversee facilities, grounds, and student transportation operations in compliance with Texas Education Agency (TEA), Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), and local board policy requirements. The position ensures safe, efficient, and well-maintained learning environments and transportation services.
Responsibilities Include:
*Overseeing maintenance and custodial operations for district facilities
*Supervising transportation services, including bus routes, drivers, and vehicle safety
*Ensuring compliance with TEA, DPS, and applicable state and federal regulations
*Maintaining required records, reports, and documentation
Qualifications:
*High school diploma or GED required
*Experience in maintenance, transportation, or school operations preferred
*Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, including CDL
*Must pass required background checks
