Successful Fall Festival
The Texhoma Elementary Fall Festival held October 24th was a huge success. Donations from over 50 businesses in Texhoma, Gruver, and Guymon helped make the night a success. The winner of the patio furniture, donated by Texhoma Wheat Growers, was Luis Leyva. The two bicycles donated by Happy State Bank of Stratford were won by Robert Ortega and Keaton Ferguson. The 2 smaller bikes were won by Winson Kimball and Aron.
The evening kicked off with a chili and stew supper follow by games and bingo. The bingo was called by Charles and Susan Russell. The elementary school staff, school board members, parents and student volunteers from the high school helped run the games and dinner.
The staff and school board wish to thank everyone for their support and donations to our Fall Festival. We look forward to seeing everyone next year.
