Note To Parents:
The Texhoma schools are sending this information in regard to the flu season which is upon us. The information we are receiving from the state health departments recommend the following: A student with a fever should not attend school. If a student with a fever attends school we will notify the parents to pick up the child.
The state health officials are recommending that an ill student should not return to school until they have a 24 hour time frame, free of fever without fever reducing medication. Rest and an increase in fluid intake and a doctor visit are recommended for flu-like symptoms.
